A metal sleeve that locks the fitting onto a PTFE (Teflon) hose during crimping. Seven sizes. Standard carbon steel, zinc plated. Fits SAE 100R14 hoses and common crimp machines.
A ferrule is a short metal sleeve that sits between the PTFE hose fitting tail and the hose braid. When you run the assembly through a crimp machine, the ferrule compresses both layers around the fitting body. The result is a joint that seals under pressure and resists pull-out.
PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) hose — also called Teflon hose — handles high temperature, aggressive chemicals, and strict cleanliness requirements. But PTFE is a smooth, low-friction material. Without a ferrule holding the braid and the fitting tail together, the hose slips off under load.
The 00710 series covers seven standard DASH sizes from -06 (DN10) to -32 (DN50). Each size matches the corresponding hydraulic hose fitting and PTFE hose OD, so you pick the same DASH number for all three parts.
Part No. | Hose DN | DASH | Length L (mm) | Hose Standard |
|---|---|---|---|---|
00710-06 | 10 | -06 | 28.6 | SAE 100R14 |
00710-08 | 12 | -08 | 30.0 | SAE 100R14 |
00710-12 | 20 | -12 | 38.0 | SAE 100R14 |
00710-16 | 25 | -16 | 45.9 | SAE 100R14 |
00710-20 | 32 | -20 | 54.0 | SAE 100R14 |
00710-24 | 40 | -24 | 57.0 | SAE 100R14 |
00710-32 | 50 | -32 | 69.8 | SAE 100R14 |
Selection tip: Confirm your hose DASH size first. The ferrule DASH must match the hose DASH and the fitting DASH. All three parts use the same -06, -08, -12 … -32 numbering.
Base material: Cold-drawn carbon steel (SAE 1010 / 1020 equivalent). Good tensile strength and ductility for crimping.
Standard finish: Zinc plating (clear or yellow). Protects against rust in humid and oily environments.
Optional finishes: Nickel plating, stainless steel 304 / 316, or plain (no plating) for special applications.
Stainless versions suit chemical transfer lines, food-grade systems, and marine installations where salt spray is a concern.
Check your hose size. Read the DASH number printed on the hose or listed in the hose catalog. Example: SAE 100R14-12 means DASH -12 (DN20).
Pick the matching ferrule. Same DASH number. For -12 hose, order 00710-12.
Match the fitting. The fitting tail must also be DASH -12. All three — hose, ferrule, fitting — share one DASH number.
Choose the finish. Zinc plating for general hydraulic work. Stainless or nickel for corrosive or clean environments.
Set up your crimp machine. Install the die set for the ferrule OD at your DASH size. See our crimp guide for die settings per size.
Each DASH number maps to a single DN and length. No guesswork. Hose, ferrule, and fitting share the same DASH — you pick one number for all three.
Cold-drawn bar gives tight tolerances on ID, OD, and concentricity. The ferrule wall thickness is consistent, so crimp force distributes evenly around the hose.
Standard zinc plating for oil and humid conditions. Nickel or stainless for chemical, food, and marine. Request plain finish if plating interferes with your process.
DN10 through DN50 covers the bulk of industrial PTFE hose assemblies. Stock all seven DASH sizes and you can build any standard PTFE line on the shop floor.
Finn-Power, UNIFLEX, and common Chinese crimp machines all work with 00710 ferrules. Use the standard die set for each DASH size — no custom tooling.
Every batch ships with dimensional report and mill certificate. Optional salt spray, hardness, and ROHS/REACH docs available for export orders.
Mobile equipment, injection molding machines, ship hydraulic stations, and wind turbine pitch systems all run PTFE lines for high-temperature hydraulic fluid. The 00710 ferrule locks the hydraulic hose fitting onto these lines under working pressure up to the hose rated limit.
Acids, alkalis, and organic solvents attack rubber hose from inside. PTFE resists nearly all industrial chemicals. Stainless or nickel-plated 00710 ferrules hold the assembly together in corrosive plant piping.
PTFE hose meets FDA and EU food-contact rules. Stainless 316 ferrules give a clean, non-contaminating crimp joint for CIP (clean-in-place) lines, filling machines, and biotech process skids.
Brake lines, fuel vapor recovery, and power steering circuits in vehicles and rail cars often use PTFE hose for temperature range and chemical resistance. The 00710 ferrule works across these sub-systems.
10+ years in hydraulic fittings. We make ferrules, fittings, and adapters every day. The 00710 is one of our standard PTFE ferrule lines — not a catalog photo with no stock behind it.
Dimensional inspection on every batch. ID, OD, and length L checked before packing. Mill test report included.
OEM and custom orders accepted. Different lengths, special finishes, private-label packaging — we build it to your drawing.
Export paperwork ready. ROHS, REACH, Certificate of Origin, and customs packing lists prepared on request.
Short lead times. Standard zinc-plated sizes ship in 7–15 days. Custom finishes in 20–30 days.
A PTFE hose ferrule is a metal sleeve that slides over a PTFE (Teflon) hose before crimping. During the crimp process, the ferrule compresses the hose tail and braid against the fitting body, creating a sealed joint that holds under pressure and resists pull-out. Ruihua Hardware produces the 00710 series in seven sizes from DN10 to DN50 for this purpose.
The 00710 ferrules fit SAE 100R14 Type A and B PTFE hoses and equivalent constructions. Match the ferrule DASH size to your hose DASH size: 00710-06 for -6 hose (DN10), 00710-08 for -8 hose (DN12), up to 00710-32 for -32 hose (DN50).
Standard 00710 ferrules are cold-drawn carbon steel with zinc plating for corrosion resistance. Stainless steel 304 and 316 versions are available for chemical or food-grade lines. Ruihua Hardware can also supply nickel-plated or plain finishes on request.
Yes. The 00710 ferrules work with Finn-Power, UNIFLEX, and standard Chinese crimp machines. Use the die set that matches the ferrule outer diameter for your DASH size. No special tooling is needed.
Every batch ships with a dimensional inspection report and a material certificate (mill test report). Ruihua Hardware can also provide ROHS and REACH compliance statements and a Certificate of Origin for export orders. Additional test reports (salt spray, hardness) are available on request.
MOQ is 500 pieces per size for standard zinc-plated ferrules. Lead time is 7–15 working days for stock items and 20–30 days for custom surface treatments or stainless steel versions. Sample orders of 50–100 pieces can be arranged for new customers.
Send us your size list and quantity. We reply with price, lead time, and shipping cost within 24 hours. New customers — sample orders of 50–100 pieces are available.
